From April 9th to 11th, i-Foria participated in the fourth edition of SMAU Paris, one of the most important events for the international innovation ecosystem. The event took place at Station F, in the heart of the French capital, and was organized in collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency.

We are proud to have been selected as one of the 40 leading Italian startups that represented Italy’s excellence in innovation abroad. During the Italy RestartsUp initiative, i-Foria had the opportunity to present its patented technology for the treatment of absorbent hygiene product waste (AHP) and the recovery of secondary raw materials, showcasing concrete solutions that combine environmental sustainability and industrial efficiency.

SMAU Paris confirmed its role as a bridge between Italy and France, fostering dialogue between startups, businesses, investors, and institutional players. During the event, we had the opportunity to engage with the dynamic French innovation ecosystem, exploring synergies in sectors such as health, sustainability, smart cities, and circular economy.

Among the most significant events was the opening night at the Italian Embassy in Paris, which was attended by the Deputy Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Valentino Valentini. The event was part of the initiatives dedicated to the National Made in Italy Day, aimed at promoting Italian excellence in innovation, talent, and creativity around the world.

Our mission remains clear: to revolutionize the way absorbent hygiene product waste is treated, creating value from what was once considered waste. SMAU Paris was a valuable opportunity to demonstrate that Italian innovation is ready to face global challenges.
