After the trial conducted at the Spresiano (TV) plant, a race has begun across Italy to build new facilities for the recycling of personal hygiene absorbent products. This type of waste, in areas where separate waste collection is highly developed, accounts for over a third of residual waste—around 900,000 tons per year that could be turned into new raw materials.
