i-Foria took part in EcoForum 2025, the annual event organized by Legambiente focused on circular economy and sustainability.
During the panel dedicated to emerging recycling supply chains, CEO Marcello Somma brought to the forefront the concrete case of recycling absorbent hygiene products (AHPs), presenting the model developed by i-Foria as a prime example of technological innovation supporting the ecological transition.

His contribution highlighted how AHP recycling — often excluded from traditional waste collection and recovery systems — can become a key element in reducing residual waste and generating new raw materials from a currently underutilized waste stream.

In his speech, Somma emphasized the importance of institutional support, calling for simplified procedures and strong backing for the investments outlined in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) to accelerate the development of innovative recycling facilities across the country.
